Portland Porpoise Swim Club050

The Portland Porpoise Swim Club was formed by the City of Portland Recreation Department in 1989 as a program within the Aquatics Division. Since then it has become a private swimming club, run by a committed and energetic parent board.

The youngest swimmers learn basic movements in the water and enjoy the fun of the team membership. Mid level swimmers learn to apply the basic skills in an initial level competitive environment. The elite groups focus on racing strategy, training ownership, and advanced training techniques. Practices are at Riverton and Reiche.
