Named a National Historic Landmark in 1964. the President Benjamin Harrison Home is the former residence of the nation's 23rd president and Indiana's only Commander in Chief. The furnished, 1875 Italiante Victorian home is open daily for guided tours, giving visitors an insight into Harrison's life before and after his presidency.
The tours last about one hour and take place on the hour and half-hour beginning at 10am. Featured exhibits are housed on the third floor ballroom.
The reconstructed carriage house behind the home houses the permanent display From Bustles to Ballots, a women's suffrage exhibit.
