Rachel Crick, the artist behind the lens of Alainn Photography, has a degree in social documentary photography, meaning she has a trained eye and a passion for capturing diversity in daily life, pop culture in process, musicians, and important historical events, including the arrival of Hurricane Katrina evacuees in Denver in 2005. Rachel also takes portraits of bi-racial families (she's mom to a bi-racial child herself), documenting how the cultural standards of race are being redefined in the new millennium.

However, for all of Rachel's talent and her captivating angle on socio-culture, she also offers good old-fashioned photography, helping families capture the moments surrounding an infant's birth with her Birth Packages, as well as the excitement of weddings, the holidays, and milestone events like Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.
