about Rafiki:

Rafiki is an indoor active play space for kids of all ages - from toddlers to teens. Features include a multilevel play structure, a large slide, a climbing area, an obstacle course, an arts and crafts area, a pretend-play restaurant, a place for karaoke and dress up, a reading room, a Wii room, a puppet and block area, and a special play area for toddlers.

Rafiki offers open play and birthday party packages. It can also be reserved for field trips and large group outings. Pricing and details are available on Rafiki's website.

Everyone must remove their shoes in order to take part in the fun at Rafiki. Socks are required. Adults can hang out in the coffee bar or grab a bite at the on-site deli while children play.

Memberships are available, offering unlimited entrance for a year for one child plus an adult, and a party package discount for the child member. Membership discounts are available for additional family members from the same family. See the website for details.

Pick up a Frequent Player Card to save some money; get one visit free with the purchase of five, or get two free visits with the purchase of 10.

We love Rafiki! We buy a punch card which makes it cheaper, and go when it is too hot, too cold or rainy. They have the best healthy, fresh food and snacks which is such a huge change from the other crap out there. Very comfortable atmosphere with big couches and reading material. Date night is such an amazing deal, we try to go every saturday we can! Cant say enough great things about all the friendly staff who go out of their way to interact, play and smile with our kids. Love Rafiki! Thank you for having such a great business.

The customer service was terrible, there is not enough seating for adults, and there are not enough climbing structures for kids with energy. We enjoy Planet Kids much more.

We had our sons party at Rafiki and it was easy, affordable, and so much fun..even for my older kids and large extended family. The hostess was super with th e kids and the service from all employees was great. Clean facility, fun toys for all ages and great music too !!

We had a great time here. We had ages 9 months to 14. Along with a Great Aunt, Grandma and a cousin that came along to spend time together since we live in Washington. It wasn't too loud and the kids stayed busy the whole time. They even have a Wii, can make snow, and yummy afforable food choices. We will definitely visit again when we are in town and recommend it. It was relaxing, clean and organized. They even offer FREE diapers and wipes (not that I needed them), but just in case.

Easily the best kids place I have been to. Clean, fun and comfortable for the parents. The deli is great and a nice change from the junk food at most places. The owners are friendly and welcoming. My 6 year old loves it!

The BEST indoor play area in Boise!! I have been to all, and my 6 year old had a good time at most, but Rafiki is the only one that is enjoyable for parents and kids too. My daughter had her birthday party at Rafiki (kids were 3-11) and kids and parents raved about how above and beyond the staff and party was. I love that that Rafiki is as great for kids as it is for parents!

This place is overrated and overpriced. The additional adult fee ($4.49) is ridiculous and the adult seating is limited. On top of all of this, the two owners did not have any customer service on the phone or in person. My kids have had just as much or more fun at Planet Kids and Boondocks at cheaper prices. Our family would rather have a season pass to the Boise zoo, Discovery Science Center, and Planet Kids at a cheaper cost than Rifikis.

Rafiki--bad choice

Sitting here right now, using their free Rafiki wifi, watching my four year old play. This place is clean, and wide open spaces. Little cafeteria looks good and clean, but didn't try it. This is a wifi couch-happy coffehouse meets kid playhouse. Two thumbs up.

This place rocks! I take my preschool class here every Wednesday and they absolutely love it! If you have kids, this is the best place for them to have fun and parents can relax. The enviornment is safe and healthy too! Great place to go for infants up to school age kids (10) Go check it out today!

Just took my 4 year old there, and he LOVED it! I enjoyed it too because it had comfortable seats and my son was so entertained I just got to sit and read. Loved the healthy food in the deli too!! A must go for people who have toddlers and preschoolers!
