about Reading Habitat:

Reading Habitat is a special place for kids, offering classes, playdates, book clubs, and birthday parties - all of which foster a love of books and reading. The venue has classrooms, a playspace, and a bookstore on site. Grown-ups can enjoy Starbucks coffee (availble for purchase), a cozy seating area with couches, and free Wi-Fi.

Classes held here include Computer Bryte, Fairytale Fun, Greek Myths, Totally Terrific Toddlers, and - for caregivers and parents - Babies Need Books.

Families might especially enjoy the Just Because Playdates, which allow little ones to listen to stories, make crafts, play games, and and play in the Cardboard Castle "where imagination reigns." Playdates typically take place mid-week; check the website for current schedule.

Book-themed birthday parties can accommodate up to 10 children (ages 4-10) and include an interactive story, games, craft, invitations, set up, clean up, hostess, pizza, carrots or grapes, juice boxes, water, plates, napkins, balloons. All you need to bring is the cake or cupcakes.

tips:

Call at least an hour before each class/story time to make sure there is enough seating. Punch cards are available for discounts, free coffee, and more!
