The Red Barn tradition is one of parents and teachers working together for the benefit of all the children. This collaboration has been going on since 1943 in one of the oldest cooperative nursery schools in the Boston area. Three-, four-, and five-day programs start at age 2.9 and go through the pre-kindergarten age.
At Red Barn, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development is encouraged by providing an environment in which children are actively involved in the learning process through different play experiences.
