I'm so happy to have found the preschool at Rodef for my daughter. Now in her second year there (she is 3), she considers it her home away from home. The environment is very welcoming and nurturing, and the children are given the freedom to explore their interests with gentle guidance from the teachers. I would highly recommend it to anyone (Jewish or not) looking for a play-based pre-school in Pittsburgh.
My family and I have had a wonderful experience at The Berkman Family Center Preschool. It has a warm and nurturing environment, small class sizes, terrific teachers and a fabulous director. Both of my daughters look forward to each day they spend with their friends and teachers!
The Berkman Family Center preschool is a wonderful nurturing place for children of all faiths. The direstor, Mimsie Leyton, is well respected in the community. The children that graduate from this preschool are well prepared for Kindergarten and attend the best schools in the city.
