Lovely program. I have 2 daughters ages 9 and 6. They are both taking strings. They love their group as well as private lesson.The teachers are amazing with the most wonderful style of teaching. Kids love them.My 9 year old is also taking choir and she loves it.

Great teachers and a great vision of how music can be taught, learned and enjoyed. Learning an instrument is so much more rewarding when you can play with other people, especially with friends your own age. SOL LA's group classes offer kids the chance to play in an ensemble early on and to play from a wide variety of musical traditions. My daughter (age 9) leaves her group classes and her private lessons feeling happy, energized and motivated. Our direct experience is with the strings program, but I have also been very impressed with the vocal groups as well. The whole place has a joyful vibe.
