The YWCA Santa Monica / Westside is a non-profit organization serving more than 2,500 women and children from communities on the Westside with both community service programs and fee-for-service programs, Services include year-round childcare, a girls' basketball league, parenting classes, parent & child classes, extra-curricular classes for kids, fitness classes for adults, and support groups.

Especially interested in inspiring young women, the YWCA offers a leadership program for girls and a free program for girls ages 10 to 14 called TechGyrls, which aims to generate interest in technology and computers.
