Coach James and SocRoc were a perfect fit for my shy 3 year old! I tried one of the other city soccer classes and my son hated it, he can be very hesitant in new social situations. Coach James was very sensitive to that and let my son just sit and observe the first few classes without trying to push him into participating. He always tried to engage and encourage my son but without any pressure. Soon my boy warmed up and was an enthusiastic participant. The class has many fun and kid-friendly elements to get the little ones moving. My son's favorites were acting like an animal, catching scarves and building towers from cones and balls (and then kicking them down) Sports for little kids usually requires more than just drills to engage them and build up their confidence and enthusiasm for a sport. SocRoc exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great class that gets their preschooler moving! PS- the Coach always let my 15 month old come to the classes and chase the ball around too and didnt charge me like a lot of other classes. SocRoc is perfect for families with an older toddler and a younger one under 2 since you can also bring your tiny one to observe/participate or just toddle around in a safe place.
