International New Year Party for Kids brought together about 650 people to SBT! So great costumes, outstanding show, precious smiles, merry faces, kind words and comments, dancing kids and happy parents! It means the event is a success story! Happy Holidays to Everyone!
My daughter is three years old and is taking Creative Movement classes at SBT on Mondays and Wednesdays. She loves it a lot! They dance, learn ballet positions, are exposed to gymnastics and rhythmic gymnstics equipment and acrobatics! The music is always fun and motivated. My daughter is asking for those classes everyday! I think it matters a lot!
Sound Ballet Theatre brings First Annual Young Musicians' Fetival "Maple Leaf Fest" 2010. It brings many talented young musicians and singers to one place to share their love to the music. Outstanding community opportunity for all kids that distinguishes this place from many!
Last Saturday we celebrated my daughter's birthday at SBT. It was a great experience for the kids. We had 11 boys & girls at the party. After over 3 hours of fun it was difficult to take them home. They were so involved in playing games and building castles, made mummies and staged a performance. The kids' program instructor was very professional and experienced. I recommend SBT to everybody. You'll love it !!!
Also, here is a Eve W. post (Issaqua, WA) I found on Yelp: "While the instructors are fine, the way the business is run is terrible. I suggest you look elsewhere for ballet lessons. However, if you feel strongly about sending your child to SBT, pay one quarter at a time because should you ever need to cancel your membership for whatever reason, you will never get your refund! It was the most unprofessional experience I have had to deal with, I felt the need to write a review on Yelp."
I agree that "that instructor" NEED to work on her manners (to put it mildly), but don't blame everything on her. The organization as a whole is just deceitful. Their services are worth WAY LESS than they charge. Also, "professional instructions" (for rhythmic gymnastics and ballet at least) couldn't be accomplished in facilities that fall short of essential standards. Administration is unable to held intricate and complicated questions, they either ignore it, or solve it in a horrible way. As to "was removed from the company!!!", it is disgustingly. Considerable organization (especially that is related to kids!!!) wouldn't wash its dirty linen in public. How they can provide good service FOR KIDS if they unable to manage internal control?!
That instructor was removed from the company!!! Sound Ballet Theatre offers professional instructions in ballet, rhythmic gymnastics, dance and arts. Many kids and Parents Love it! Come and see.
I don't know about the ballet part. But we tried to sign up for a gymnastics class, and were highly disappointed. The instructor was absolutely rude and impatient. She even did not bother to "meet and greet" us and to introduce herself! We left even before the class started. Be aware!
