SouthWest Aquatics - winner of our 2009 Parents' Picks award for best local swim class - features year-round aquatic programs designed for swimmers of all ages.

The complex offers two heated pools, including an outdoor, heated 25-yard, four lane pool used for teaching, exercise, competition, and recreation swims. The teaching pool is also heated and enclosed in the winter months.

Classes: Infants, toddlers, children, and adults can learn basic independence and survival skills in the water through swimming and floating at age-appropriate levels. Private, one-on-one student to instructor ratios help prepare students for a safe, fun aquatic experience. Classes are available for children as young as six months old (with a parent or caregiver) up through adults.

Advanced classes in stroke development teach students to swim better, faster, and easier. The center also offers a number of swim teams (even a two-year-olds swim team!) for kids who want to experience competition in a fun environment.
