The Trinity River Audubon Center is set among the 6,000 acres of grasslands, wetlands, and hardwoods of the Great Trinity Forest, which supports a wide variety of plant and animal life. Visitors can explore hands-on exhibits, miles of nature trails, and a children's discovery garden, or sign up for one of the center's educational programs.
The center offers free admission on the third Thursday of each month, and is also open extended hours on those days (9am-9pm).
