    UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures museum develops exhibits, programs, and special events that showcase the diversity of Texas. The museum is located in downtown San Antonio in the building that was originally constructed as the Texas State Exhibits Pavilion for the 1968 HemisFair celebration.

    Younger guests are invited to get comfortable on the floor of the Bluebonnet Puppet Theater and watch a 10-minute live puppet show with fun characters, upbeat music, and a great message about Texas history and its rich cultural diversity. Call ahead to find out what puppet show will be appearing during your visit.

    The museum also offers birthday party packages.

    The museum's physical address is 801 South Bowie Street, but guest parking and the main entrance is located off Durango Boulevard, approximately one block west of I-37.
