about War Memorial Plaza:

The War Memorial is located across a grassy plaza from City Hall and the entrance features some spectacular statues of war horses. Originally erected in honor of the Maryland citizens who died during World War I, the building was rededicated to honor all Marylanders who have served our country. During the warmer months, the plaza is host to a variety of activities including organized sports and live entertainment.
