The venerable Wedgwood Broiler opened in 1965, and it doesn't seem to have changed much in the past 45 years. It's one of Seattle's best old-fashioned diners.
The French dip is the most exotic item on the menu. This isn't Daniel's Broiler, but the food is better than expected for this price range. Burgers and dinner entrees run from $8-$12; steak prices range from $12.75 for a six-ounce top sirloin to $32.50 for a 16-ounce filet mignon. There's no kids' menu, but most children are likely to find something appealing here. Full menus are available on the website.
