YoKid helps children from all socioeconomic backgrounds foster self-awareness through low- and no-cost instruction in yoga and meditation. With greater self-awareness, children can realize their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. It is YoKid's belief that ALL children should have access to the benefits of yoga by highly qualified instructors. Therefore, it provides on-site Yoga and Meditation Classes for any interested youth oriented organization, Kids Yoga Teacher Trainings for adults, and Staff Development Workshops for educators.
tips:
YoKid classes are held at kid friendly places (ie. schools, community centers, group homes, etc.) and are organized by kid friendly people (ie. parents, teachers, PTA's, Youth Program Directors, etc.)
