Abrakadoodle Art556

We love Abrakadoodle at Cool Baby! Each week it is a creative and fun new project that is wonderfully facilitated by the teacher. My husband has an office full of interesting art now! The real bonus is the friends my 2 y/o daughter has made in the class. Highly recommended!

My now 2 1/2 yo daughter has been taking Abrakadoodle classes with teacher Laura since she was 20 months old (at the Culver City site), and loves her weekly art class. She gets to explore all sorts of media, and has become very comfortable with getting her hands messy while creating her masterpieces. Laura frames many of the works in fun plastic frames, too! My daughter often proudly points at her multitude of projects adorning our living room. Laura is very creative in coming up with many different fun, age-appropriate projects; in the 10 months we have been taking this class, I am always amazed that none of the projects have ever been repeated. Laura is very supportive and encouraging to the children and conducts the course in a fun and relaxed manner. After Laura describes the goals of each project and how to use the various materials at the beginning of each class, the children are then free to use the materials to create as they wish :).

My 2 1/2 yr. old loves Abrakadoodle! She looks forward to class every week and loves her instructor, Laura. She's learned different techniques, she's learned about artists and she's made new friends. It really is a great class.

... and that's okay! Big art exploration fun in a multitude of crayola-brand mediums for very little ones. My favorite part is that my 2 1/2 year old gets to explore paint, scissors, glue -- in a setting that's not my house! (i.e. no cleanup for me!)

My 2 1/2 year old son has been taking classes from Laura at Abrakadoodle Art for the last 6 months (at the Smart Space location). I wasn't quite sure how my very active and physical 2 year old would be able to sit and concentrate on weekly art projects but have been so pleasantly surprised by his newfound enthusiasm for art and this class. Laura has different weekly projects using really creative materials such as shaving cream mixed with paint or using racecars as paintbrushes! The kids and parents are always excited with the process and the outcome is one happy and proud toddler who gets to show off their work in front of class! If you value early art education, this class is definitely a great option for your child!

We are impressed not only by the range of materials and level of creativity but also by the informal introduction of master artists in such a way that my young daughters can begin to understand and mimic their techniques.
