Abrakadoodle - West Metro558

My toddler and preschool aged sons are involved in many activities during the week but the one they look forward to the most is Abrakadoodle art class. The classes are well structured and the projects are interesting enough to hold the attention of both my 2 and 4 year old. They enjoy exploring a new art material each week and bringing home their finished products. I enjoy seeing how differently they are both engaged in, and learn from the projects. Abrakadoodle classes are a great way of introduce children to art in a fun and educational environment. My boys come home each week proud to show-off what they have learned and created.

We LOVE Abrakadoodle!!! We have been taking classes for over a year now, and refer people all of the time. The projects are interesting, attainable and well guided. We love teacher Lizzie who is attentive and always interested and caring for the kids and parents. We can't say enough about these classes and what we are learning here.

My boy/girl twins just celebrated their 4th birthday with an Abrakadoodle party -fabulous!!! The teacher was amazing with the kids and had all kinds of fun introductory projects for them to do as they arrived. She also read a story and gave great instructions about the art project they would do (which I got to help pick in advance - they have TONS of ideas to pick from). The tables were set up wtih all the supplies and each child had their own easel and art apron. There were 10 kids (age 4!) and they were mesmerized. Each child left with their own masterpiece on canvas. I am still getting all kinds of great comments from the kids who attended and their parents. I, personally, was completely impressed. It was affordable, creative, fun, unique, and completely stress free. I'd recommend Abrakadoodle and Shay, the owner and teacher, to anyone. My kids can't wait to take more art classes. Thanks to Abrakadoodle for making our party such a special experience!! Great memories!!

Abrakadoodle has been a great part of my kids lives. It has taught them how to express themselves while learning about art history and different artistic methods. Both my 6 year old and 3 year old enjoy the art classes and love bringing home new framed art each week. The Abrakadoodle staff are fantastic. They really know how to teach art and make it fun and interesting. Abrakadoodle art classes and camps have had such a positive impact on my kids, I recommend this program for all kids.

I have recently discovered Abrakadoodle, and both my daughter and I think it's amazing!! What started out as an after care class at school, will now not only be her next birthday party but weekly classes this spring as well. It's wonderful the way art and education are mixed together, leaving my daughter having a blast and looking forward to more!

We had our son's 6th birthday party at their Calhoun Square studio last week and it was great. They did a really fun superhero art project using digital photography and special black paper with these really fun markers/pastels. My son loves superheros so this was the perfect project for him and his friends. The staff went above and beyond to make our party great. We had 4 extra guests show up at the last minute which they accomodated without complaint and then my son decided he wanted to add face painting 10 minutes before the party was supposed to start. They handled it all in stride and were great with the kids. Halfway through the party I realized my husband forgot the candles, matches and utensils - no problem, they sent the assistant teacher to buy some and no one even noticed the glitch.

I had a birthday party for my daughter Sarah (age 4) this past weekend and it was FABULOUS! I was a little nervous because I hadn't been to an Abrakadoodle class or birthday party before, but they were just great. We had about 20 kids ages 2-5 (plus my 8 year old son and his friend) and the two teachers, Shay and Rachel, were so great with the kids. The kids had a blast painting like Jackson Pollock (they were giggling the entire time and had huge smiles on their faces) and they even learned a lot about colors and color mixing. The parents got into the lesson and had fun and I was even able to actually relax and have fun too (which is a first for me - normally I'm stressed out at my children's birthday parties). Before the party I had been nervous about kids painting in my house, but the teachers brought drop cloths to drape over the tables and floor so everything was nice and protected.

My daughter loves Abrakadoodle. It's her favorite activity and she looks forward to it all week long. In fact, the only night we have an easy time putting her to bed is the night before Abrakadoodle class because she knows the faster she goes to sleep, the sooner she gets to go to art class. At the end of class, she's so excited to come home and show her daddy her framed artwork. I like that it's not only fun, but educational. It's amazing how much she remembers about Matisse or Van Gogh and she's only 4 (I've even learned a lot!)
