Budding performers can hone their talents at Act III Acting and Performing Arts Studio with a variety of acting, dance, and musical theatre classes. Acting Classes: Kids can start their Hollywood-bound career early at Act III with the Preschool and Tiny Tots Program, which introduces young children to creative dramatics, including on-camera skills and basic audition techniques. Stories, songs, musical instruments, puppets, and a variety of costumes are available to encourage creativity and build self confidence. Additional classes include Commercials for Kids (seven to ten years old), On-Camera Commercial Audition Technique (11-15 years old), Television & Film Acting for Kids, Television & Film Acting, Improv, and Theatre Games, and advanced classes for kids who have previously completed beginner's courses. Musical Theatre classes are geared toward performance and students learn the vocals, lines, and choreography necessary to put on a full stage performance at semester's end. Summer Camp: Half day and full day camps are available during the summer covering a number of different areas. Musical theater campers put on a full stage musical production at the end of their sessions, and all other campers display their talents in an end of session performance or showcase.
