I love this place, I actually like this location better than the one more south of us. The inside is decorated so much nicer, it really relaxed my daughter and the staff was wonderful. The doctor was very nice, very personable and really took the time to explain to me as well as my 4 yr old daughter why she wasn't feeling well. We will definitely come back here again and again.

Expensive. Quick access, friendly front desk. My son had a small fractured wrist. Not serious, but I took him there just in case. They charged $250 to put a sling on his arm. The statement said it was done by the physician, but the nurse did it. It took all of 1 minute to put the sling on. I called when I got the bill. The said the charge was the same if the nurse or doctor put it on. Go figure. Convenient, but very expensive. They don't give out rates until they know what is wrong....but be prepared for sticker shock.

We took our 7 year old son, Christian to this clinic after he hit his head on some playground equipment at Universal Studios and had to have 5 stitches in his forehead on 07/23/08. the staff were VERY friendly and helpful and put me and my family at ease while we waited for the Dr. and when Dr. Ballelos came in to put the stitches in my son's head, he let me stay in the room with him and Christian watched Scooby Doo the Movie on the flat screen TV in front of him while Dr. Ballelos put the stitches in!! Dr. Ballelos is a WONDERFUL Dr.!! I would recommend him and his clinic to ANYONE!! The staff are VERY friendly and courtious!! Christian is doing well and will get his stitches out tomorrow!!

The doctor's English was terrible. They charged us $526 to remove a bead with forceps from my child's nose. The procedure took less than 15 minutes- we waited two hours. They will not give out pricing before the service- beware.

Previously the dr. who checked our daughter was kind and caring and helped her get well. The lady dr. we saw the other night was not the same. She asked my daughter what reason she had come to see her. My daughter said, "I think I have bronchitis because I have coughing, fever, and congestion in my nose, throat, and chest." The dr. proceeded to tell my daughter that she was diagnosing and that we didnt need her. She evidently is very insecure in her position as a dr. when she makes something out of what my daughter told her. My daughter felt very sick with a fever of 101.8 and did not even feel like visiting the doctor. The doctor proceeded to tell us that she thought she had a virus. She was confused because I was concerned about my daughter. She asked me, "Do you think your daughter has cancer?" I said "No, she has been so sick that I'm not sure its a virus." Her attitude was one of arrogance and unconcern. We will not be coming back to After Hours Pediatrics and I advise others not to waste their time or money.

My 1 1/2 daughter developed an eye infection on the way to Orlando and we were referred to after-care pediatrics by a friend in Orlando. I got lost trying to get to them, but they took about 10 phone calls from me and made sure I got there safely. My daughter was seen very quickly, they accepted my out-of-town insurance, gave me driving instructions to the pharmacy and even called my hotel to get directions for us!! My daughter is very picky about people, but she walked in holding the nurses hand in and out of the clinic room. The entire staff was very friendly and the place was very clean and not too intimidating for small children!! Would definitely recommend.

They did a wonderful job when my son fractured his foot. Definitely recommended.

Our insurance isn't active until next week, but we figured the after hours would be like any walk in clinic in price. Even a slight bit more than the regular 40-60 dollar charge would have been acceptable. No, we were wrong. After Hours Pediatrics charges 180.00 just for your child to be "seen". That is more than a hospital charges today. Add possible "labs" and we were looking at around 480.00 for the entire visit. I also want to add, the first time I visited them I had to insist something was definitely wrong with my child before they'd test for anything. She had RSV come to find out, even though the doctor said initially he couldn't find anything and I was basically being over protective. Rsv is a serious and sometimes deadly virus. Thanks After hours pediatrics, for nothing.
