about Ahmanson Theatre:
This is the middle-sized member of the trio of theatres in the downtown Music Center of Los Angeles. The
Ahmanson seats about sixteen-hundred; it's next door to the larger, and somewhat more famous,
Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and the more intimate and experimental
Mark Taper Forum.
The
Ahmanson is the downtown Los Angeles site of larger productions of more mainstream plays and musicals.

tips:
Tickets are available online or by telephone, but going to the box office saves waiting in the will-call line. The Music Center garage provides free parking for 30 minutes, with validation and a $17 deposit.
getting there:
The Music Center is a large three-city-block complex bordered by Temple Street, North Grand Avenue, Second Street, and Hope Street. Parking is available at the Music Center Garage or the Walt Disney Concert Hall Garage for $8. Evening and weekend parking is available for $8 at the Department of Water and Power garage on Hope Street, and valet parking is available for $20 at the Music Center's Hope Street entrance.
