The Akron Zoo offers several summer day camps for preschoolers through teenagers.
Summer camps range from three- to five-day programs, and prices vary. (One constant: zoo members always get a discount.)
Educational day camps are also offered throughout the school year for children of preschool through kindergarten age. Most of the day camps are held weekly for 30 minutes to an hour, imparting about as much education as young children can absorb at one time. Caregivers are required to be present for the early childhood day camps.
