The 132-acre Al Lopez Park practically sits in the shadow of Raymond James Stadium, yet parts of the parcel may as well be thousands of miles away. (Although, on game day, it's a popular spot for pre- and post-game grillin' and chillin'. There are multiple playgrounds and play areas for kids, and a fishing pond for extra entertainment.

The city's Hunt Community Center - which offers programs for children ages five to 17 - is located within the park grounds. The park's trail is divided into two parts. The southern loop is designed for bicycles; the northern loop is reserved for walking, hiking, and skating.

Al Lopez Park is also home to a popular dog park.
