About Albright-Knox Art Gallery

The winner of our 2008 Parents' Picks quest to find the Best Artsy Class for Big Kids and Teens in Buffalo, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, one of the nation's oldest public arts organizations, acquires, exhibits, and preserves both modern and contemporary art.

On Fridays from 3pm-10pm, admission to Albright-Knox is free, featuring Gusto at the Gallery, a program which offers various art-related activities for visitors of all ages.

The Gallery offers art classes for students ages four through high school. Classes meet for six sessions and include painting, drawing, and sculpture. Students also learn about art in the Gallery, as many projects are inspired by works in the permanent collection. Taught by local artists and art educators, the program is designed to provide an array of creative art experiences both in the Gallery and in the art studio
