About All Fired Up
There's plenty of inspiration on the walls at All Fired Up, a paint-it-yourself pottery studio perfect for kids, families, and moms looking to escape for a few hours.
Completed projects and fun chair fabrics fill out the studio, offering up creative ideas (or reasons to bemoan your lack of creative talent), and the studio has plenty of unfinished pieces of pottery to paint.
Kids may prefer smaller items like coasters, pet food dishes, plates, or small mugs, while parents (and ambitious artists) can choose from tea pots, large serving plates, and even sushi platters. Pottery prices range from $2 to $60, with many pieces under $15. Books and boxes of stencils and ideas are also available to help create the perfect masterpiece. Pieces are fired in the studio and are available to pick up in one week.
The studio also offers a number of mosaic projects to choose from. Visit the display near the register to see the available materials.
Parties: All Fired Up offer two party packages. Each packages includes the choice of a small project (including an ice cream bowl, small animal figure, or piggy bank), two hours of studio time, paints, clear glazing, and firing. Parents can bring in cake, food, snacks, and beverages, or the studio can provide the items for a fee.
Classes and Camps: Specialty classes are sometimes available; call for more details. The Summer Club is designed for kids ages six to 12 and provides a unique curriculum each week that includes pottery painting and clay time. Camp spaces are limited, so make sure to call in advance to reserve a spot.

- First arriving, there were no "hello's or is this your first time". We found a table and still no explanation on how to paint pottery and what are the fees. We had to ask for water for the table. The manager on duty was too busy playing on her cell phone and talking to her boyfriend. At the end of our visit, we cashed out with no "thank you's".

( Another visit, the manager repeated & said sternly, if your help your child paint, then there is an extra fee. It's hard to have a fun time when someone is watching down your back the entire time!)
Went back after a week to pick up the pottery pieces. Got there 30 minutes before closing since I was not painting today, and they "closed" early. I yelled through the glass" i'm just picking up my pottery" and they still refused to open the door. I said " You close in 30 minutes, just hand me my pottery and they turned there back on me. Another family came to pick up there pieces and the employees all hid in the back room, refusing to hand us our product that we paid for. Looking at entire experience, no hospitality when we arrived and left and then arrogant when trying to pick up the pottery. I still have to make a second trip and we are in the middle of a recession!
