All-Purpose Pizza555

I keep hearing about Mioposto or Tutta Bella as "the place" to take kids. I have been to both and really - my kids have to stay entertained at my table! All-Purpose Pizza has safely gone where no other restaurant has (except Vios) and that is to provide a safe, contained, kid-friendly area - the "kids Kitchen". The staff hooks the kids up with a little round of their dough and the next thing you know, your kids are occupied for HOURS while you have a beer. The pizza satisfies something in your SOUL it is so good. The meatball sub leaves you wanting more. I have yet to get through the whole menu, but I have seen a very generous hummus plate go by (with oohhs and aaahhhs from the table that ordered it) and I have smelled the aroma of the "crownie" - a QUADRUPLE chocolate brownie served warm with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream?! Sounds heavenly!! Try it - you will love it. The pizza is more than terrific and the owner, Kendra, is there to make you feel like family.

APP is a great way to spend an evening where all the kids want is noodles and all you want is a moment's peace. Their kitchen staff and wait staff are conscientious and the decor is simple but high-end (I think their woodworker family made the tables!)... and still, it's a great place for kids. The only thing to consider is that pizza that great comes at a cost, and one of their best pizzas, the Hullabaloo, is $26. Given that it feeds 8 people, it's not too expensive, but if you're going out with just the family, it can be costly.

The food is unbeatable for all members of the family and these guys have really catered to everyone - they have huge flat screen TV's so my husband can watch the game and a large kids play area with toys, etc. They will even give the kids pizza dough to play with. We love the feta-chini pizza with the red wine sauce: feta, kalamata olives, salame, etc... keeps us coming back for more almost every week! We often stop-in for some soup & salad or a meatball sub for lunch. Two thumps way up from our family!

I finally found a great pizza where my two sons can stay intertained without having to shell out twenty dollars in quarters. The pizzas are really good (if not the best) and I can get a decent beer or glass of wine as well.

This is one of the friendliest kid restaurants in town AND possibly the best pizza joint in the city! The staff is amazingly friendly, patient, and kind and the pizza is just as spectacular. The delivery spans a wide range that has been neglected by other larger chains. I prefer to dine in, however. You can't beat the fire starter (spicy!) and the soups are really good too. My husband loves the meatball sandwich with a Caesar salad....they give dough to the kids to play with at a table giving us parents a much needed break with a beer. Love it....
