An accommodating restaurant with a very relaxed atmosphere in the Haight that has big booths, lots of capacity, high ceilings, and generously portioned meals. We like it best for breakfast, when it dishes out the house speciality, crepes, along with omelets, pancakes, blintzes, and veggie scramble. The fare is down home and satisfying. Kids can easily split one dish here and leave feeling full.
The atmosphere is fairly raucous; even early in the morning the music blares. And there's nothing pretty about this worn-in joint. But, who knows, that may be just the backdrop you need for your own rambunctious crew.
