This establishment for children is awesome. You can sit and relax while your child plays and interacts with other children. My son loves it as well as I do. The owner Yolanda is the sweetest! What a wonderful place to go to with your little ones!

Although this sounded very appealing online, the reality of a visit to Amaya Papaya was disappointing. I went as a tourist to Orlando looking for something different to do with my 1 year old son. It is quite far outside of the area where we were staying (near Universal Studios). It took approximately 40 minutes in harrowing I-4 rush hour traffic to get there. Upon arrival, we were "greeted" by a group a group of 5 apathetic teenagers, none of whom other than the girl who took our money even made eye contact. (I am not even sure if the others worked there!) Once in the play area, I was shocked at how dirty the mats were. The photos online were obviously taken when everything was brand new...it no longer is. The toys were fun, and my son enjoyed playing with them, but I found the atmosphere depressing. There was a group of moms gossiping loudly about someone they didn't like on one side of the room, and a mom and separate dad each glued to electronic devices on the other. (All while their kids played in the middle.) The kicker? My son developed a horrible cold the day after our visit. Since this was the only place during our trip that he was really out of his stroller & touching things, I'm pretty certain he caught it here (even though the rules say 'no sick kids'). To be fair, I obviously have no proof of this...just a hunch. This might be a good place for tourists absolutely desperate for small-kid entertainment, or for locals looking to kill time without having to interact with their kids, but if you don't fall into one of those groups, I definitely would NOT go. It's too bad...it seems like such a cool idea. Sadly it falls really short when put in to practice.

Amaya Papaya is an AWESOME place to play! There aren't many places that have things for babies to do and you can feel that they won't be trampled by older kids. I have been going there since my youngest was 5 months old and she STILL loves to play there. I find the prices to be just the same as others and in the end it actually ends up being cheaper because I don't have to buy food since I can bring the girls lunch with me. I also took advantage of their half off deal by buying my girls Amaya Papaya T-shirts so on Monday's I get two for the price of one! I also enjoy the Pre-Preschool class that's offered because my girls don't have to go but they usually do because the teacher is GREAT! I would definitely recommend this place for people who have kids between 0-5yrs old, while your older child plays you can also relax with the baby and they even have a special area for babies only! =)

It was a great idea. I felt bad because one mom there was told her older son could not play because he was six. I donâ??t really get the point of the facility. Itâ??s small, expensive, and all the toys they had, we have at home. Iâ??m a lawyer and I gave a little advice to the employee, so she could relay it to a manager or the owner. If any outside food or drink is brought into their facility, they are liable for it. If a child chokes on an apple his mom brought in, they can sue. Itâ??s not a very practical business practice. Most insurance companies would drop the insurance if they knew. Why do you think most businesses do not allow outside food or drinks?â?¦.

Amaya Papaya is awesome. I let my kids play without feeling like I have to protect them from bigger kids because the place is only for kids five and under. My kids did not want to leave. There is nothing like it in Central Florida, which is cool because even the little ones need a place of their own =)

I have been a fan of Amaya Papaya even before they opened their doors in August 2009. Central Florida has needed a place like this for years! A SAFE*CLEAN*FUN place for moms to come with friends while their children can play. The owner goes above and beyond to make every parent feel like they are at home when they bring their kids to play. She welcomes outside food, offers a refrigerator and microwave for you to use, you can order food out and have it delievered. It is VERY obvious the owner takes pride in everything she does~everything is clean, bathrooms are spotless with changing tables for infants, toy areas are organized into "educational centers". She enforces a sick policy, so you can be assured that it is a "clean" place for your children to play. Before you leave a negative comment, stop and think of another place like this that you could go to, your "home away from home" for you and your child. I belong to a large Moms Group and we have playdates here all the time, she offers great group rates. On Mondays and Wednesdays with an Amaya Papaya t-shirt you get in for half off. Amaya Papaya is a perfect place to sit back and relax with friends and your kids have an awesome place to play!

AP is a blast!!!!!!!!!!!! Lots of cool, fun, eco-friendly toys, great learning-play areas like the kitchen, the blocks, the dress up section, and my son especially loves the wooden train set. There is a sandbox, a playhouse, and parents can sit back and relax or enjoy time with their children. We love AmayaPapaya and when you get the shirt, you get in for half price on Wednesdays. AP is great for those days that are very hot and rainy. LOVE IT!!!!!

Amaya Papya is the BEST PLACE, for kids zero to five! My son LOVES it there! There has awesome activities, toys,and even themed open-play days! We LOVE AP and wouldn't go any where else. too pricey and all they have is toys you would have at home....boring

We LOVE Amaya Papaya! All sorts of fun toys & play areas, a great dining/craft area with small and grownup sized tables & chairs, and very clean. Our playgroup has frequent playdates there and all the kids have a blast every time. You can bring in your own food & drinks and if you don't feel like it they have plenty of toddler drinks & snacks for a nominal price. The owner's heart is obviously in every corner of this place.
