Not worth the headache....Hosted my daughters 12th bday party and it was not what we expected. I have three other children ages, three, two, and nine months old so of course they attended. Upon arriving I took the little ones to the train, which is one of three rides they could ride on. We did not make it to the first turn when the train jumped off the track and my three year old bumped her head. We got off the train and nobody said sorry or asked if she was ok. I had to ask someone for an ice bag which took about an hour to get and only because I complained to two different people including a manager or so he said he was. He handed my daughter a glove filled with ice and that scared her. Most of our guests that attended did not get their card at the door so I had to keep on asking for them at customer service. By this time I could not convince my smaller kids to get on any of the rides because they were terrified, so that was money down the drain. I find out days later that one of our guest was told on the day of the party that they had the wrong date and no such party was taking place. These friends drove from Buckeye to Mesa just for the party. These girls in the front need to pay more attention and do their job right because people spend a great amount of money for these parties. A week later I get a call from Laura which is the one who reserves the parties. She called to make sure I was happy with the party and I expressed I was not happy at all. She said the manager (Dan) would call me and make things right. As of now, Dan has not called me. I called Laura the other day and she was not very nice this time and told me I should leave a message for Dan which, I did. It is sad that I had to watch my daughter cry for about a week because of the accident on the train and it took about a week for the bump on her head to go away. I though this establishment was family oriented. I do not recommend this place at all.

Amazing Jakes is alot of fun. Even I have a blast. My family loves it there. It may be expensive but it is worth all the fun. So make your childs birthday a little more exciting by having it at Amazing Jakes. Trust me, you'll be making the right choice! :]

Very expensive if you do not plan ahead and book parties in advance. For walk in parties they charge a arm and leg, for a party of 10 we just paid $300.00 at the Mesa one and they didn't offer a break one. Even had guest pay extra to ride with their children who were four years old as the driver of go Kart, $5.50 extra! Bring lots of credit cards!!

My 4 year old loves the place, but there still isnt much for him to do, the rides are catered toward older kids. It is a huge place and always very busy so you need to be careful and really watch toddlers and little ones closely. I think when the kids get older it will be better for us, but its not good for kids under the age of 6!
