The AMC Mainstreet 6 in Kansas City's Power and Light District originally opened in 1921 as a vaudeville and movie house. The theater was completely overhauled and opened in 2009 as the Mainstreet 6, featuring Cinema Suites with plush reclining seats and dining/drink service at your seat.

A parent or adult guardian must accompany children under age 18 in traditional auditoriums and under age 21 in the Cinema Suites.
