Anchorage School of Music offers classes for band, orchestra, keyboard, and guitar. Class sizes are limited to 20. Students learn to read music. During the school year classes begin in the fall and continue through the last week of May. Instrument choices include flute, clarinet, saxophone, violin, trumpet, trombone, percussion, keyboards, and guitar.

There are multiple performance opportunities during the school year and parents are always welcome to attend classes. The program is ideal for private and home school students who would like to participate in a musical ensemble.

Anchorage School of Music's Summer Music Day Camps are fun 2 week instrumental music classes for kids entering 2nd through 7th grade. Students bring instruments of their choice, learn to read music and play 12-15 songs. Each session ends with a concert for families. Classes are offered for beginning and intermediate level musicians.
