The Anita C. Leight Estuary Center is a research and education facility located in the Otter Point Creek component of the Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. The Estuary Center is dedicated to increasing appreciation and understanding of estuaries. Visitors can roam the area in search of all kinds of wildlife, such as turtles and frogs, deer, foxes, eagles, otters, and more. Educational programs for all ages and interests are offered regularly, and young nature enthusiasts (ages three to 16) can schedule an Eco-Party for their next birthday as well.
