Founded in 1977, Applause Community Theatre produces two to three shows per year, and offers summer camps - one for ages 6-12, and one for teens - that explore one work for a couple of weeks and conclude with a series of performances. The website lists upcoming audition opportunities for kids ages six and up. Auditions, camps, and performances take place in south metro locations such as Eagan and Burnsville. Some performances take place in the Thomas Mraz Center for Performing Arts at Burnsville High School (600 East Highway 13), which is located about 1.5 miles east of Highway 35W.
