Applewood Centers is one of northeast Ohio's largest providers of behavioral healthcare for children, youth and families. A multidisciplinary staff offers an array of services including outpatient counseling, psychiatry, residential services, adoption, foster care, in-home and school-based services, training and education. The agency is licensed and certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health, licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and accredited by the Council on Accreditation, and the American Psychological Association.
Services are provided from the agency's four offices, two residential centers, the
Eleanor Gerson School, as well as in public/private schools, clients' homes, and locations throughout the community.
Applewood receives funding from United Way Services, the Cuyahoga County Community Mental Health Board, and other sources, including corporate grants and individual donations.
