I was on my way to a job interview when I realized that I have about a 30 minute time surplus. I walked into the store and wanted to get about 4 bags worth of stuff because it was all so cheap. Plus the styles were all this season's and the size range was wonderful. I ended up buying only a few things that could fit into the bag that I was carrying so as not to walk into the interview with a bag full of clothes. I later went back and got everything else I had likes. The saving were awesome. From a $5 cute tee to a $40 suit, I am a happy shopper when I go to Arcade America.
I went shopping on my one-hour lunch break and found some exciting styles in the store. However, the check out line was long, there were only 2 cashiers and one proceeded to have a conversation with an employee who was busy telling her about how much she'd be leaving for a new job. All I could think was do they not realize that the people standing on the long line had jobs to get back to? Granted, the cashiers were already at work so what did they care? The registers downstairs were not being used, so everyone had to pay upstairs. Needless to say, I and the woman infront of me put our intended purchases back on the nearest rack and walked out. The poor security guard could only ask if we'd be coming back...to which I replied "No" because frankly, all the items I wanted to purchase were also at Strawberry's at 42nd street!
