I am a single mom who came to Las Vegas for an important trade show and job fair which included attending seminars to enhance my resume. I hired Artsy Nannies to provide child care for several different times over the course of the weekend, adding up to over 11 hours. Very expensive but they are supposed to be the best in Las Vegas so I thought it would be worth it. The nanny was great. She brought games and crafts with her and my daughter enjoyed her time with her, on our first appointment. The second appointment, which was to cover the time of a very important seminar which I had already listed on my resume as having attended, the nanny called to say she'd be late. So I arranged to meet her at the convention center so I would not miss my seminar. She arrived a half an hour after the seminar had begun -- this seminar was actually a lab class for the jewelry industry. I could not enter the class/seminar late. They do not refund since a spot had been saved for me. I was upset and called the owner of Artsy Nannies, who said "sorry". I've lost the money, the experience of the seminar, and have to find somewhere in Las Vegas to re-do my resumes before the job fair. So bottom line, the nannies are great but the service is unreliable. I am hiring a different service for the job fair since I wish to arrive on time to the event.
