Birthday parties are available. They are not private events, but they do include banquet table seating, access to the patio beforehand, and a special song onstage with the birthday child.

getting there:
Take the Sunset Blvd exit off the 101 Freeway, head east on Sunset, and right on Saint Andrews. The Playhouse is on Saint Andrews, between De Longpre and Fernwood. Parking is available on the street.
