Atlanta Rocks! Intown, the winner of our 2008 Parents' Picks quest to find the best Day Camp for Teens in the Atlanta area, has more than 12,000 square feet of professionally designed climbing surface in an indoor gym setting. Classes for ages 12 and up range from beginner to experiences, and cover all facets of climbing technique. Fees include instruction, shoes, climbing time, and belay device, with generally one instructor for every six students. Day Camps are offered for kids ages eight to 16 in week-long sessions, and cover the basics, including how to tie safety knots, put on a harness, and master belay basics.
