This intimate 160 seat theater is home to the Atlantic Theatre Company, founded in 1983 by playwright David Mamet and actor William H. Macy. The theater is located in a renovated parish house in Chelsea.
Atlantic for Kids produces two family-friendly shows each year.
Acting workshops and an afterschool theater program for children ages four and up are offered throughout the season. Class fees range from $300/semester (for the youngest students) to $350/semester (teens). The Atlantic also offers a four-week Summer Teen Ensemble program, which begins at the end of June.
