About Austin Zoo

The winner of our 2008 Parents' Picks quest to find the best place for family bonding in Austin, the Austin Zoo is home to both domestic stock and a wide variety of exotic species. Kids can also enjoy meeting some animals up close at the petting zoo, which features goats, deer, and llamas.

The Zoo is also a great place for a birthday party, and discounted admission is available for groups of 15 or more people.

Annual Membership for a family of four is $100. Admission prices are subject to change.

Our 9mo. old daughter had a great time looking at all of the animals. Mom and Dad really enjoyed it too! Wear tennis shoes :)
