This place was so fun and funky, I definetly think it is for age 6 or 7 and older, I can't imagine taking my younger children there, too much stuff to get into. I am on my way there today to get stuff for my daughters b-day party. We are going to make lip gloss and they have all kinds of little jars and things and they have some great plain cradboard boxes for the children to take home their decorated cookies in. Check it out!!

My family visted ax man by accident about a year or so ago on a trip to the Twin Cities. Wow, I had no idea a place like this even existed. Upon pulling up to the store, it looked sort of like some freaky pack rat person's haven or something and we didn't know what to expect. Inside it was even weirder, all to our delight. Every one of us found several things of interest here. It's the most random stuff and the signs describing the wares are hilarious. The staffers young hip alternative type kids and all extremely nice. It's really hard to describe this place because it's just one of a kind. I suggest you visit at least once with your kids. If you have even the slightest bit of imagination you are bound to love this place.
