Designed especially for new moms, the Baby Boot Camp fitness program provides a chance for moms to get fit while bonding with their babies, and meet other area moms.
Baby Boot Camp's mantra is "Bring your baby. Get fit." Babies are secured in strollers and become part of the program as moms are led through a 75-minute workout. The program combines cardiovascular training needed to build endurance and increase energy levels, with upper/lower-body and abdominal conditioning to strengthen muscles needed to lift and carry babies, prevent lower back pain, and regain balance and flexibility. Pilates, yoga and abdominal exercises help improve core strength.
