GO POP KIDS....Thank you! Finding you a couple of years ago has been a bleesing. I have to say that I loved your location at Perry Street, but your new Bank St. location is really something, extremely spacious with a warm feel, and very clean. I am so happy that I am sending my child to your new location this year. The owner and staff have truly been great, they have helped my child to no end. The after school program is amazing and the staff seem the to give a little something extra, they are really focused on helping my child learn. It was great to find this oasis in the city and I want to say "thank you" to everyone at the "Go Pop kids" after school program. Keep up the good work.. Your the best..

A True Find!!! We started going to Baby Moves when our child was 5 months old. We really liked the style and approach of this sweet place. The classes were always interesting and we really respected the committment from the staff to make every child successful! We liked it so much that we signed on for the preschool program (Perry School) for 3 years. Perry School was a pleasant surprise! The program was nurturing and diverse in curriculum. Our child felt safe, met lots of friends and learned a lot. We truly feel that our son received everything he needed to enter Kindergarten (g&t) program this fall. Thank you Baby Moves & Perry School!!!

Cheers for Baby Moves! Baby Moves is the best spot for baby classes. We LOVE the Messy Art Shop class. Our toddler girl has opportunity to explore in the developmentally appropriate and FUN setting! We look forward to our class every week.

I have been going to Baby Moves and Go Pop Kids with all my children over the past 8 years. This place is a true gem in New York City! The classes are always high quality and the teachers are chosen with the utmost care. My children are always given the attention they need and want to go back again and again. My oldest child of 9 years has attended Baby Moves classes, Perry School and the summer camp NYC Kids Camps. I have always been amazed with the dynamic curriculum and dedicated staff. Any tom, dick and harry can open a play space for children without having formal education. When that same place claims to be a "school" without having the proper background, then it becomes a problem. When the same place focuses on test prep rather real, interdisciplinary curriculum, it's unbelievable. The problem with places like this is that they do generate revenue. In fact, they can make a lot of money, without having any long-term benefits for children. In short, it's a fun place and brightly colored. Educational it is NOT>>>

Thank you higher powers! What a gem of a place in the middle of the Far West Village. Always busy and full of life, Babymoves is by far the most kid friendly playspace around. Clean and structured, fun and creative. What else should there be for our little ones? If you are looking for a great place to share life with your child, do not overlook this little diamond.

My son has been a regular at Babymoves since he was 4 months old. He will be 5 in 2 wks. He graduated from the 2x wk music and movement classes to 4 day a wk playgroup then 5 day preK classes (all at Babymoves). Although the movement and music classes have been fun, I really appreciated the preschool. With about 12 children and upwards of 3 very capable teachers per class, my son has superceded the norm. I can go to kindergarten anywhere and know that he will be ahead of many. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
As a mother of 3 wonderful children, I can honestly say this, Babymoves has been terrific! The space is bright and cheery. There are skylights that stream in the sunshine, there is a great garage space that is open to the street that is so inviting, the indoor playspace called "the Grand Playroom" is colorful, clean and grand. There are many climb-on activities for toddlers and mini obstacle courses as well as space to run around and have fun. The director/owner has a knack for children. She really observes without judgement and is keen to each childs needs and quirks. The staff is loving, very attentive and a lot of fun. Unlike some places (and with three, I know), The teachers/playgrp leaders and instructors are educated, sweet and sustaining. It is great to see the same faces (and some new) each yr. My son stated it clearly. "I don't want to get older. I want to stay at Babymoves". I could not ask for anything more. It is great to know that when we go off to kindergarten this fall, we can come back for one of the many afterschool programs that Dawn has to offer. Hurray for a home away from home.

Babymoves is a loving and thought provoking environment for children. The owner treats each child as though they were her very own, giving them each the time and attention they deserve. The great thing is your not going to find a staff that sits behind their computer, or an owner who drops by on occasion. If that is what your looking for try some of the other NYC child hots spots.Coming to Babymoves means you and your child will be greeted by the wonderful staff and the "earth mother" that is the owner. It's a wonderful oasis in the middle of the city. Each class is tailored to the child's individual needs. They offer everything from Early cortex to Musical Theatre. You won't find a better after school program for the older kids and you will not find happier children coming out of classes like Bluegrass and Rock'n' Roll. A review can only say so much, head down to Perry St., you won't be disappointed.

My child has been to every program in the city, and this is BY FAR, one of the most un-organized. We gave it a shot for over a year, and the only teacher we liked ended up quitting. It's very clear that what is age appropriate takes a total backseat to entertainment. Frankly, your money is better spent elsewhere.

My daughter has been going to Baby Moves since she was 4 months old. She is now 6 1/2. She loves going there. I love it too. The owners are truly in love with children and give great advice to parents about everything from potty training to kindergarten math. Each class is well thought out and stimulating. The teachers are warm and keep the children interested. This summer my daughter was in camp for four weeks and never wanted to leave at the end of the day! I have had to drag her out of Baby Moves for 6 years! I don't blame her, it's a wonderful place.

Baby Moves is a warm, caring and special place for children to learn, play and grow. With a wide variety of classes, skilled teachers, and an excellent preschool program, I have been very happy with all my experiences there. The owners are dedicated, professional and consistently involved with maintaining quality and a positive atmosphere for everyone. I highly recommend it.

I am so happy I found Baby Moves! As parent who has sampled just about every enrichment course out there, I can say without hesitation, our experience at Baby Moves is the best by far. Having (unfortunately) subjected my oldest child to a variety of classes where much was promised and little delivered, I brought my youngest girl to Baby Moves, where finally those promises were kept.

My daughter attended the summer camp, where the counselors were engaged and engaging, and where she never felt left out or lost in the crowd. After her first week there, she excitedly asked, "can I come back next week?" There's no better endorsement than that! The space is beautiful, the staff is friendly and caring, and from the very first day I could see that my girl was in great hands. We will definitely be coming back to Baby Moves. It was a wonderful experience.

A terribly hazard of a place...shelves are melting off the walls, mice are in the closet, the single toilet is always clogged, and the roof is constantly leaking water. The attention and detail have been lost in what used to be a great early cortex location. Employees aren't legally employed; much less background checked, safety precautions aren't legally installed, this place is a horror story.

We have been taking classes at Baby Moves for the past two years. The classes are very exciting and well thought out. My son gets so excited when we turn the corner of Perry Street.

There's a real love for kiddie education in this cozy garage space and it reflects daily in my daughter's recaps of her current summercamp program. Her teacher (Kelly) has a very natural- if not a maternal approach to guiding all the kids through group play and creatively themed learning activities. That's no surprise given that she comes from the 92nd Street Y's preschool program. Erica now has two new best friends ("they love me, mommy") and an armful of craft projects that she uses to demonstrate how the world around her "pretty much" works. Well worth our power stroll from the financial district.
