A must-visit stop for "newbies" to Balboa Park's cultural attractions, the Balboa Park Visitors Center (also known as the House of Hospitality) offers a wealth of information on the park's current exhibitions, educational programs, location, hours, and admission prices. Whether you've got a day or an hour, the friendly staff is happy to recommend an itinerary.

The Visitors Center publishes and hands out a bimonthly Events Guide describing the cultural attractions and special events. The Center also sells the Passport to Balboa Park discount ticket admission booklet. For $45 (adults) or $24 (children), visitors can choose five attractions to visit out of the park's 14 institutions, valid for seven days. (Note: The Zoo is not included in the pass program; a Passport/Zoo Combo is available for $77(adults), $42 (children).
