I didn't know the first thing about how to go about finding child care services for my 2 kids. For my first child, we were fortunate enough to be able to keep my husband home to raise our son. When our second son came along, this was no longer an option. I looked through the internet and found the BANANAS website. I called them and they were able to help me decide which would be the best type of child care option for me. They referred me to several family care type services around my house. Without them, I would have had to resort to picking up the phone book and dialing randomly! Though it is not their policy to recommend child care services, they do offer a great list of handouts that you can download through their website to help me make a decision on my own.
