A local favorite, Banbury Cross has been making fresh doughnuts and muffins in Salt Lake City for over 20 years. The doughnuts are always fresh and very tasty, and large in comparison with most other doughnut shop offerings.
The shop gets quite busy during the expected doughnut rush in the morning, and the parking lot is quite small. A drive-through alleviates some of the congestion at the counter, but even that gets backed up. Be patient, and park on 700 South if the lot is full. Just know that it is worth the wait.
Customers who know exactly what they want can call their doughnut orders in ahead of time.
