Bar S Stables invites families to hit the happy trails and show kids the beauties of Griffith Park. Children seven and older may ride; all groups go with a guide. Bar S has access to the Park's northern side, and on a clear day you can see the Mount Wilson Observatory, and beyond to the San Bernardino Mountains. In the Park, riders might see wildflowers, birds, deer, and coyote (from the relative safety of the top of a horse).
getting there:
Take the Victory Blvd. exit off the 134 Freeway East, head north on Victory, and left on Riverside Drive. OR, take the Western Ave. exit off the 5 Freeway, go west on Western and right on Riverside.
