Barber Park in Ada County is perhaps best known for being the launching point for Boise River rafting and tubing trips. The six mile trek down the Boise River to Ann Morrison Park has rest stops at River Quarry, Marden Bridge (Baybrook Court Bridge), and Julia Davis Park. Raft and inner tube rentals are available through Epley's Boise River Rentals at Barber Park. Tubers and rafters can fill their equipment at the park's free air stations. Barber Park also offers picnic shelters, a playground, and trails. It's a great place to do some wildlife viewing. Park visitors include deer, fish, and bald eagles.
