Barking Cat Studio, an art studio located in Boerum Hill, is holding a Grand Re-Opening Week Celebration on September 17-18, 2011 from 10 am â?? 3 pm and September 19-22, 2011 from 6:30-8:30 pm, free and open to the public. At the Open House, guests can create free, fun and exciting arts and crafts, receive balloons and snacks, and can meet staff to learn about upcoming programs and special events.

Barking Cat Studio recently renovated their studio space and theyâ??ve expanded their class offerings to include kids ages 18 to 108 years old. Class times and workshops are flexible and are held on weekdays, weeknights and weekends, with special event and birthday party programs also on weekends. Registration is preferred but drop-ins are always welcome, provided there is space available.

Great fun art studio with lots of different projects every week. My son loves it, and Karen the owner and teacher is fun and creative.

My kids LOVE the Barking Cat. The have fun letting their creative energy run free and they look forward to being inspired by Karen, the creator of the studio, each week. It's great place!

My 19 month old daughter and I LOVE the Barking Cat Studio. Karen is amazing with kids of all ages, is able to keep even the very young ones engaged and excited to do arts and crafts. My daughter feels VIP every time she goes to the classes and gets a grand hello when she enters. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for either weekly classes, drop in classes or a birthday event. I can't wait to host my daughters next bday there.
